Soccer Game Preview: Jackson vs. Strong Rock Christian

The Jackson Red Devils will head out on the road to square off against the Strong Rock Christian Patriots at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Jackson will be strutting in after a win while Strong Rock Christian will be coming in after a defeat.

Jackson proved they can win big on Friday (they won by seven) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. Their defense stepped up to hand Morgan County a 1-0 shutout. Jaydan Ramos DaSilva had the honor of scoring the game-winner for the Red Devils.

Meanwhile, Strong Rock Christian entered their match against St. Anne-Pacelli on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Strong Rock Christian took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of St. Anne-Pacelli. The loss put an end to the Patriots' undefeated start to the season.

Jackson now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Strong Rock Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 7-1.

Jackson might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Strong Rock Christian in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. Can Jackson avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
