Baseball Recap: Bow Comes Up Short

Bow dropped to 6-10 on Thursday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins on the road. They fell just short of the Kennett Eagles by a score of 5-4. The Falcons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2025.

As for Kennett, with the victory, they broke their ten-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-15. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win they have posted since April 20th.

For Kennett's part, they let Owen Robertson and Blake Royer run wild. Robertson got on base in two of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run, while Royer got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one double. That's the most stolen bases Robertson has posted since back in April.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bow will host Stark at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Kennett, they will be playing at home against Berlin at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
