Basketball Game Preview: Forest Lake Christian Falcons vs. Sacramento Waldorf Waves

Forest Lake Christian is 8-2 against Sacramento Waldorf since January of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Forest Lake Christian Falcons will head out to take on the Sacramento Waldorf Waves at 6:00 p.m. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Forest Lake Christian sitting on four straight wins and Sacramento Waldorf on seven.

Forest Lake Christian is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Futures, posting a 69-28 victory. The Falcons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 22 points or more this season.

Forest Lake Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jordan Bell led the charge by going 6 of 10 en route to 16 points in addition to six boards and four steals. The dominant performance also gave Bell a new career-high in blocks (two). Another player making a difference was Kenzie Harrington, who dropped a triple-double on ten points, 11 rebounds, and ten blocks.

Forest Lake Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 15 consecutive matches.

Meanwhile, Sacramento Waldorf was able to grind out a solid win over Futures on Friday, taking the game 42-30.

Sacramento Waldorf is also on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 21.2 points per game. As for Forest Lake Christian, they pushed their record up to 11-6 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Forest Lake Christian took a serious blow against Sacramento Waldorf in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, falling 53-22. Thankfully for Forest Lake Christian, Sienna Baumgartener (who went 8 for 17 on her way to 20 points along with six boards and five steals) won't be suiting up this time.
