Softball Recap: Lakeside Falls to Pierce County in First Game of Season

Lakeside had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 4-0 to the Pierce County Bears on Friday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

The win keeps Pierce County at an undefeated 5-0.

Lakeside has already played their next game, an 11-1 defeat against Glascock County on the 8th. As for Pierce County, they will take on South Effingham at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
