Jackson had won five straight on the road, but on Thursday they bumped up to 18-8 to make it six. They walked away with a 6-1 win over the Seckman Jaguars. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 9-2 two weeks ago.

As for Seckman, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-13 record this season. That's two games in a row now that they have lost by exactly five runs.

For Seckman's part, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Payton Bantle, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. Bantle has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played.

Coming up, Jackson will challenge Lafayette at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Seckman, they will take on Hillsboro at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Jaguars' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Hawks have averaged an impressive 7.7 runs per game this season.
