Softball Recap: Clopton Hawks vs. Mark Twain Tigers
While Clopton's win against Mark Twain wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Hawks narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Tigers 6-4. The Hawks haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Ashlyn Noah spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and two unearned) runs on five hits and racked up 12 Ks. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 5.7 strikeouts per game.
