Soccer Game Preview: De Anza vs. El Cerrito

De Anza hasn't had much luck against El Cerrito recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The De Anza Dons will look to defend their home pitch against the El Cerrito Gauchos at 6:00 p.m.

De Anza is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Wednesday. They lost 3-0 to Pinole Valley.

Meanwhile, El Cerrito unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Saturday. They and Oakland Tech finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw. The result kept the Gauchos happy, as they haven't lost a game since December 10, 2024.

Emily Murff and Natasha Rudd scored both of El Cerrito's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 15 goals.

El Cerrito's draw makes their record 6-2-2 this season. As for De Anza, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.
