Baseball Game Preview: Marist War Eagles vs. North Springs Spartans

The Marist War Eagles will face off against the North Springs Spartans at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Marist is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last seven games.

On Monday, Marist got the win against Southwest DeKalb by a conclusive 19-3. The War Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 17 games by seven runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, North Springs made easy work of Tucker on Monday and carried off an 18-5 victory.

Marist's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 22-5. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.8 runs over those games. As for North Springs, their win bumped their record up to 10-17.
