Big game from Williams as Lafayette Jefferson fell 7-1
Lafayette Jefferson came up short on Tuesday despite Miles Williams delivering his best game to date. Williams was dynamite, striking out six batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits.
Even though Williams couldn't lead Lafayette Jefferson over Kokomo, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
