Blair County Christian is headed into Tuesday's match hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight defeats. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 30-29 heartbreaker at the hands of Calvary Baptist Academy. While the Bobcats didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating Calvary Baptist Academy 10-3 in the first quarter.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Gabi Dull, who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine boards. That was a full 37.9% of Blair County Christian's points, marking the fifth time in a row she's posted more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Calee Kennedy, who had six points in addition to eight rebounds and seven steals.

Even though they lost, Blair County Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 20 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in 14 consecutive games dating back to last season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Centre County Christian Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Calvary Christian Academy 34-32. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Centre County Christian Academy as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Centre County Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Blair County Christian, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-4.

Blair County Christian took their victory against Centre County Christian Academy in their previous matchup back in December of 2024 by a conclusive 39-18.
