Softball Recap: Perkins-Tryon Comes Up Short

Perkins-Tryon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 5-1 to the Hominy Bucks. If the Demons were looking for revenge after losing 10-2 to the Bucks when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Perkins-Tryon's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Hominy, the win was the 14th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-2.

Looking ahead, Perkins-Tryon will challenge Bristow at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. The Pirates' pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so the Demons' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Hominy, they will face off against Olive at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
