Football Game Preview: Sparrows Point Pointers vs. Pikesville Panthers + How To Watch

Sparrows Point is 7-2 against Pikesville since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Pointers will square off against the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few points on average (Sparrows Point 7.6, Pikesville 11.8) so any points scored will be well earned.

Pikesville will face off against a team with plenty of momentum: Sparrows Point extended their winning streak to five on Friday. The Pointers came out on top against Eastern Tech by a score of 27-14.

It was another big night for Mikey Maynor, who rushed for 142 yards and one TD while picking up 7.1 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 132 rushing yards.

Meanwhile, Pikesville hadn't done well against Western Tech & Environmental Science recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Panthers secured a 21-16 W over the Wolverines.

Sparrows Point's record now sits at 5-0. As for Pikesville, their record is now 4-1.

Sparrows Point couldn't quite finish off Pikesville in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 and fell 8-6. Can the Pointers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
