Softball Recap: Plattsburg Has No Trouble Against East Buchanan

Plattsburg never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They blew past the East Buchanan Bulldogs 10-0. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won four games by six runs or more so far this season.

Addison Ford was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most runs she has posted since back in October of 2024. Another player making a difference was Lilly Nelson, who went 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI.

Plattsburg's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 6-5. As for East Buchanan, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.

Coming up, Plattsburg will head out to square off against North Platte at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Tigers are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for East Buchanan, they will be playing at home against Lathrop at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
