Softball Game Preview: Bevier Wildcats vs. Brashear Tigers

Bevier is 1-8 against Brashear since September of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Wildcats will be playing at home against the Tigers at 5:00 p.m. Bevier will be strutting in after a victory while Brashear will be coming in after a defeat.

Bevier gave up the first runs on Tuesday, but they didn't let that get them down. They walked away with a 12-8 win over Meadville. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wildcats.

Meanwhile, Brashear lost 12-5 to Clark County on Wednesday.

The victory got Bevier back to even at 2-2. As for Brashear, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Bevier couldn't quite finish off Brashear when the teams last played back in October of 2024 and fell 5-3. Can the Wildcats avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
