Baseball Recap: Plainfield East Comes Up Short

Plainfield East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 13-6 to the West Aurora Blackhawks. The Bengals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Blackhawks apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Plainfield East's record now sits at 2-4-1. As for West Aurora, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Coming up, Plainfield East will take on Providence Catholic in a tournament on Wednesday. As for West Aurora, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Romeoville at 11:00 a.m. on Monday.
