Basketball Game Preview: South San Francisco Warriors vs. Sequoia Ravens

South San Francisco hasn't had much luck against Sequoia recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The South San Francisco Warriors will take on the Sequoia Ravens at 6:15 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

South San Francisco is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 67 points on Tuesday, they were much more limited against Capuchino on Wednesday. They lost 49-23 to the Mustangs.

Despite the defeat, South San Francisco saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Chloe Wong posted 11 points.

Meanwhile, Sequoia played a tough contest on Wednesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against Terra Nova, falling 57-34. The Ravens have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sequoia's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for South San Francisco, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-11.

South San Francisco came up short against Sequoia in their previous meeting two weeks ago, falling 57-49. Can South San Francisco avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
