Football Recap: Bayshore Christian Comes Up Short

The matchup between Bayshore Christian and St. Luke's Episcopal on Friday hardly resembled the 27-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Eagles lost 43-20 to the Wildcats. The Eagles were down 36-7 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

St. Luke's Episcopal's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jathan Richardson, who rushed for 70 yards and one TD on only five carries, and also caught one touchdown. Richardson got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 50 yards. Another rusher making a difference was Cameron Roberts, who rushed for 114 yards and one score on only 12 carries.

Bayshore Christian is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3. As for St. Luke's Episcopal, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
