Volleyball Game Preview: Newsome Wolves vs. Sickles Gryphons + How To Watch

The Newsome Wolves will face off against the Sickles Gryphons at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The timing is sure in Newsome's favor as the team sits on six straight wins at home while Sickles has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.

On Saturday, Newsome beat Bradenton Christian 3-1.

Newsome had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-22, 25-21, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Sickles lost 3-0 to Tampa Prep on Friday.

While Sickles was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Tampa Prep's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-17, 25-22.

Sickles' loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Newsome, their victory bumped their record up to 12-3.
