Baseball Recap: Argyle Takes a Loss

Argyle lost to Shullsburg two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Orioles fell 6-2 to the Miners. The Orioles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Argyle saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Max Soper, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one RBI.

Argyle's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Shullsburg, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Looking ahead, Argyle will head out on the road to challenge Kenosha Christian Life at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Orioles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 6.8 runs per game this season. As for Shullsburg, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Pecatonica at 4:30 p.m.
