Softball Recap: Davis Comes Up Short

Davis came into this matchup off a tough 15-run loss on Tuesday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Calera Bulldogs by a score of 4-2 on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Wolves have suffered since August 16, 2024.

Davis' loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Calera, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Coincidentally, Davis and Calera will both be playing Tushka the next time they take the field. The Wolves will host the Tigers on Friday, while the Bulldogs will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on the 25th.
