Softball Recap: North Platte Takes a Loss

North Platte fell victim to Mid-Buchanan and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Dragons, falling 10-0. The Panthers have struggled against the Dragons recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

North Platte's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Mid-Buchanan, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Platte will welcome Plattsburg at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mid-Buchanan, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Penney at 5:30 p.m. The Hornets' pitching crew has only allowed 2.4 runs per game this season, so the Dragons' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
