The Wheatland Pirates's four-game losing streak came to an end on Saturday. They managed a 37-31 victory over Roseville.

Wheatland found their leader in underclassman Michaela Davis, who scored 12 points along with nine rebounds and three steals. That makes it six consecutive games in which Davis has scored at least 25% of Wheatland's points. Another player making a difference was Reagan Clancy, who scored six points along with four steals.

Wheatland's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Roseville, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wheatland and Live Oak will face off at 7:00 p.m. on December 15th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for Roseville, they will head out on the road to face off against Granite Bay at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Granite Bay has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
