Soccer Game Preview: Animo South Los Angeles vs. Math & Science College Preparatory

The Animo South Los Angeles Panthers will venture away from home to take on the Math & Science College Preparatory Sharks at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Math & Science College Preparatory took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Animo South Los Angeles, who comes in off a win.

Animo South Los Angeles' defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Horace Mann UCLA Community with a sharp 3-0 win. Animo South Los Angeles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by three goals or more this season.

Heidy Avila and Flordeli Cano scored all three of Animo South Los Angeles' goals, bringing their combined season tally to 12 goals.

Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for Math & Science College Preparatory's offense. They came up short against Larchmont Charter on Wednesday, falling 12-0. The Sharks have struggled against the Timberwolves recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Math & Science College Preparatory's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Animo South Los Angeles, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
