Laguna Beach waltzed into their match on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Banning Broncos, posting a 56-17 victory. The Breakers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 23 points or more this season.

Laguna Beach found their leader in freshman Fiona McCormick, who posted 16 points. Another player making a difference was Kate Cheng, who put up 11 points.

Laguna Beach has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.4 points per game. As for Banning, with the defeat, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-4.

Laguna Beach won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Desert Chapel at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
