Seymour had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.4 runs) and they went ahead and made it six on Monday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Lamoni Demons a 10-0 shutout. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Warriors have posted against the Demons since June 4, 2019.

Seymour pushed their record up to 10-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games. As for Lamoni, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-9.
