Baseball Game Preview: Arabia Mountain Rams vs. Decatur Bulldogs

Arabia Mountain hasn't had much luck against Decatur recently, but that could start to change on Monday. Arabia Mountain will head out on the road to take on Decatur at 5:55 p.m. Arabia Mountain has given up an average of 11.3 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Arabia Mountain fell victim to Chamblee and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 15-0. The Rams just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Meanwhile, Decatur came tearing into Thursday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Generals with a sharp 11-1 victory. Considering the Bulldogs have won seven matches by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Decatur's win bumped their record up to 9-13. As for Arabia Mountain, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-13.

Arabia Mountain suffered a grim 12-0 defeat to Decatur when the teams last played back in March of 2024. Can Arabia Mountain avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
