Central and Cabot are an even 3-3-4 against one another since April of 2021, but likely not for long. The Tigers will square off against the Panthers at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Central's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out Little Rock Southwest 1-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Central.

Meanwhile, Cabot was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Conway. While losing is never fun, Cabot can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas soccer rankings (they are ranked 49th, while Conway are ranked seventh).

Central's victory bumped their record up to 11-4-3. As for Cabot, their loss dropped their record down to 4-10-5.

Central was able to grind out a solid win over Cabot when the teams last played back in April, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
