Soccer Recap: The Weber School Comes Up Short

After flying high against Pinecrest Academy last Tuesday, The Weber School came back down to earth. The Weber School Rams fell just short of the Wesleyan Wolves by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The contest was a 2-2 toss-up at halftime, but the Rams couldn't quite close it out.

Joey Mekyten and Iddo Markus scored both of The Weber School's goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.

The Weber School's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Wesleyan, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

The Weber School didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 4-1 loss against Woodward Academy on the 18th. Wesleyan has also already played their next game (against Paideia), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
