Chanhassen strolled past
Waconia last week with points to spare, taking it 32 - 13. The teams were tied 7 - 7 at the end of the first half, but Chanhassen pulled away in the second.
Chanhassen can chalk up much of its success to the efforts of junior Jacob Miller, who ran for 132 yards and also punched in three touchdowns. This marked the 3rd consecutive game in which Miller had 100+ rushing yards. Additional support came from senior Jake Maus, a defensive powerhouse who racked up 12 tackles.
The win got Chanhassen up to 6-2. The defeat brought Waconia down to 3-5. It is on an unfortunate four-game losing streak.
The teams are out to raise these records in their next games. Chanhassen will square off against TBA this Saturday.
