Basketball Recap: Kennett Takes a Loss

Kennett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 41-37 heartbreaker at the hands of the Bayard Rustin Golden Knights. While losing is never fun, the Blue Demons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 545th, while the Golden Knights are ranked 175th).

Kennett's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Bayard Rustin, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-3.

Kennett has already played their next game (against East), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Bayard Rustin will challenge Academy Park at 12:15 p.m. on Saturday.
