Softball Recap: Fort Dodge Takes a Loss

Fort Dodge has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.55 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Wednesday. They came up short against the Valley Tigers, falling 24-12. The Dodgers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in July of 2022.

With the defeat, Fort Dodge broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 26-12. As for Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won 20 of their last 25 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 30-11 record this season.
