Softball Recap: Hudson Comes Up Short

The Hudson Pirates came up short against the Calamus-Wheatland Warriors on Saturday and fell 14-9. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hudson's loss dropped their record down to 14-9. As for Calamus-Wheatland, they moved to 14-13 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Hudson didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 7-6 defeat against Maquoketa on the 28th. Hopefully Calamus-Wheatland paid attention to the Pirates' game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Pirates on Sunday.
