Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Mission Vista walked away with it. They walked away with a 56-49 win over the Santa Fe Christian Eagles on Wednesday. The victory was nothing new for Mission Vista as they're now sitting on six straight.

Santa Fe Christian's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jennifer Stanion, who posted eight points along with 11 rebounds and three steals. Stanion is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last seven games she's played. Ava Robbins was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Mission Vista's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-12. As for Santa Fe Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-16.

Looking ahead, Mission Vista is taking a road trip to face off against Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Christian's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 15 contests. Santa Fe Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
