Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Houston County). Their defense stepped up to hand the Northeast Raiders a 10-0 shutout on Friday. The victory was familiar territory for Houston County, who have now won three games in a row.

Houston County's win bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Northeast, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Houston County will venture away from home to face off against Perry at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Northeast, they will head out to square off against Dodge County at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Dodge County will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Northeast surely won't give up without a fight.
