Softball Game Preview: Dodge County Indians vs. Bleckley County Royals

The Dodge County Indians will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against the Bleckley County Royals at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Dodge County is coming home looking for redemption after taking a loss in their road opener. They lost 10-2 to Academy for Classical Education on Wednesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Indians in their meetings with the Gryphons: they've now lost four in a row.

Meanwhile, Bleckley County unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of Pierce County on Thursday.

Dodge County couldn't quite finish off Bleckley County in their previous meeting back in September of 2024 and fell 6-4. Can the Indians avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
