Softball Recap: Varnum Comes Up Short

Varnum lost against Earlsboro back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Whippets fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 4-3. The Whippets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Varnum's defeat dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Earlsboro, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-7 record this season.

Varnum didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Strother on the 6th. As for Earlsboro, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 10-0 victory against Moss on the 6th.
