Ellsworth is 9-1 against Caribou since May of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Eagles will look to defend their home field against the Vikings at 2:00 p.m. Ellsworth's pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so Caribou's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Ellsworth will roll into the game after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one run on Tuesday, then bounced right back against Foxcroft Academy on Friday. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 15-5 margin over the Ponies. Considering the Eagles have won three matchups by more than nine runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Caribou fell victim to Mount Desert Island and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They came up short against the Trojans, falling 10-0. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ellsworth's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Caribou, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.
