Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Berkeley). They never let the Encinal Jets onto the board and left with a 7-0 win on Thursday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Yellowjackets needed considering they were shutout in their previous game.

They hit Encinal with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Mia Sieminski (3), Evita Escamilla Geisler (2), Kayla Topel, and Alexandra Forbush.

Berkeley's victory bumped their record up to 3-6-3. As for Encinal, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-4.

Berkeley wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 2-2 draw against Castro Valley on the 17th. As for Encinal, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 12-0 defeat against Bishop O'Dowd on the 17th.
