Soccer Recap: Huntington Beach Find Success

It may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but Huntington Beach ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Corona del Mar Sea Kings 2-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Oilers also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2024.

Mia Sanchez and Sienna McAthy scored both of Huntington Beach's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 12 goals.

Huntington Beach has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3-4 record this season. As for Corona del Mar, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-5.

Huntington Beach does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Corona del Mar has already played their next matchup (against Edison), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
