Basketball Game Preview: Livermore Cowboys vs. Arroyo Dons

The Livermore Cowboys are taking a road trip to face off against the Arroyo Dons at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Livermore is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against West on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Livermore had to suffer through a 61-34 loss at the hands of West. The Cowboys haven't had much luck with the Wolfpack recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Meanwhile, Arroyo came up short against Head-Royce on Friday and fell 52-44.

Arroyo has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season. As for Livermore, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-9.

Livermore came up short against Arroyo when the teams last played back in January of 2024, falling 39-35. Can Livermore avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
