Thoreau entered their tilt with Wingate on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Bears with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in October.

Thoreau was especially dominant in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-15, 25-20.

Their offense was headlined by Colleen Moses-Perry and Angelina Clum, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Keira Begay and her 19 assists.

Thoreau's victory bumped their record up to 10-12. As for Wingate, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-19.

Coming up, Thoreau will square off against Crownpoint at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Wingate does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
