Baseball Recap: Brookstone Picks Up 11th Straight Win at Home

Brookstone had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 13-run drubbing they dealt Shaw on Wednesday. Brookstone put the hurt on Shaw with a sharp 14-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Cougars, who have now won seven matchups by ten runs or more so far this season.

Gray Jones was a standout: he went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and five RBI. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high. Maxwell Jones was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI, two runs, and one double.
