Soccer Game Preview: Campbell vs. Osborne

Campbell is on a three-game streak of home wins, while Osborne is on a four-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Spartans will host the Cardinals at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Campbell is likely headed into the matchup with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Pebblebrook last Thursday. The Spartans took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Falcons.

Meanwhile, Osborne kept a clean sheet against Orange Beach on Wednesday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Makos. Two seems to be a good number for Osborne as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of goals in their previous game.

Diego Perez and Javier Espinoza scored both of Osborne's goals, bringing their combined season tally to three goals.

Campbell's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 8-6-1. As for Osborne, their victory bumped their record up to 8-6.

Campbell took their win against Osborne when the teams last played back in March by a conclusive 4-1 score. Will the Spartans repeat their success, or do the Cardinals have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
