Baseball Game Preview: Harris County Tigers vs. Marion County Eagles

The Harris County Tigers will face off against the Marion County Eagles at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Harris County will be strutting in after a victory while Marion County will be coming in after a loss.

Harris County is looking to give their home crowd another W after opening their season at home on Monday. They won by a run and slipped past Columbus 4-3.

JT Pirkle tossed a big game, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out eight over 5.1 innings pitched.

At the plate, Harris County's win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Daejeon Elder, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Meanwhile, Marion County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 13-3 to Centennial.
