Washington County waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the West Laurens Raiders 7-1. The Golden Hawks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by six runs or more this season.

Washington County pushed their record up to 11-5 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for West Laurens, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-6 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Washington County will host Central at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for West Laurens, they will welcome Bleckley County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
