Recap: Delphi Community Oracles vs. Eastern Comets
The Delphi Community Oracles waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with two straight wins but they left with three. They blew past Eastern, posting a 54-19 win at home. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Delphi Community has posted yet this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Delphi Community to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jenna Roth, who scored 12 points along with seven steals. Roth is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Maddy Brown, who scored ten points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Delphi Community has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. As for Eastern, they bumped their record down to 6-12 with that defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road.
Delphi Community will take on Sheridan at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Eastern, they will be playing at home against Carroll at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Carroll focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 last Friday.
