Football Recap: Northmor Comes Up Short

After soaring to 37 points the game before, Northmor was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They took a 25-13 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fredericktown Freddies. The Golden Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Freddies apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Although Northmor took the loss, they still got scores from Garrett Deisch and Conner Stockdale.

Northmor has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season. As for Fredericktown, their record now sits at 5-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northmor will host East Knox at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last. As for Fredericktown, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Loudonville at 7:00 p.m. The Freddies will be up against the Redbirds' rather soft defense (which has allowed 25.5 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
