Softball Recap: Covington-Douglas Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Covington-Douglas's offense. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Prue Rockets on Thursday. The defeat continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Rockets: they've now lost three in a row.

Covington-Douglas' loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Prue, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-11 record this season.

As of now, neither Covington-Douglas nor Prue have any future games scheduled.
