Baseball Recap: Unity Christian Comes Up Short

Unity Christian lost against Oakwood Christian back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Unity Christian Lions came up short against the Oakwood Christian Eagles, falling 7-1. The matchup marked the Lions' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Unity Christian saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Benjamin Wilson, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. Wilson also hit a double, marking his first of the season.

Unity Christian has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season. Oakwood Christian's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2.
