Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Prince Avenue Christian couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Calvary Day Cavaliers on Tuesday. The Wolverines' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Prince Avenue Christian got a good showing from Bryson Towler, who pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Towler has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Prince Avenue Christian saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Eli Attaway, who went 3-for-4 with one run and one double. Hudson Hill was another, going 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Prince Avenue Christian's loss dropped their record down to 29-5. As for Calvary Day, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 26-7.
